REMINDERS: WSPA members are invited to: WASA’s “ Finding Your Voice ” webinar is a two-part presentation on advocacy. Participants do NOT need to be WASA members. Both webinars are complimentary, but participants do need to register . Registration is open for the Sept 20 webinar; information and registration notice for the Nov 29 webinar will be sent early November.
The US Department of Education has asked for our help in spreading the word about the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) limited waiver to educators, school personnel, administrators, professors and other employees at all education levels. This relief can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who work tirelessly every day to educate and care for our nation’s students. AASPA has put together a collection of resources for you to use in assisting your employees who may now have an opportunity to apply for student loan forgiveness. Help us spread the news. Funny for the week: I was helping my mom with her login in and when I asked her the password, she said, "MickeyMinnieGoofyDonaldPlutoHueyLouieDeweyBismarck", she said they told her it had to contain 8 characters and at least one Capital....
