EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MESSAGE

Good morning everyone, Our webinar this week (4/25/24 from 9:00-11:00) is on the recent Legislative Impacts on Bargaining by Dan Steele and Buzz Porter.  This webinar is FREE to WSPA members, please sign up at the link below for your spot.  Coming in May, we have three webinars scheduled one FREE to WSPA members and two for a fee.  These are listed below. 

What's Happening Now:

• We are currently nominating individuals for WSPA Treasurer (3-year term) and WSPA Secretary (2-year term) so please check your email from me last week announcing those nominations are open and please be thinking about running for one of those positions.  Nominations for those positions close tomorrow (4/23/24). 

Membership Renewal: As of today, we are up to 702 members, If you have not renewed your WSPA membership for 2023-24 now is the time to do so.  Please reach out to Kaley VonVolkli (kvonvolkli@wasa-oly.org) to make that happen.  Here is a reminder that we are contracting with WASA again to manage our membership roster and payments.

Member Requests this week: Our school district is seeking recommendations for new software to assist in evaluating salary placements for classified job descriptions and reclassification requests. If you use software that has been effective in this area, please share your recommendations. If you developed an in-house system, we'd be interested to know that too.
